Pro. Gao holds a Bachelor Degree from Academy of Chinese Traditional Opera in
piano major, a Master Degree from Beijing Normal University in chorus conducting
major and Postgraduate Degree from Renmin University of China.

Awards:
In 2006, won the Outstanding Teacher Award in the Fifth Chopin International Piano
Competition in Henan Division.

In 2007, won the Outstanding Teacher of the year in the second China Youth Cultural
and Artistic Festival of Instrumental Competition hosted by the Chinese society of music
research, Life Science Association of China, the World Association Of Chinese
Education, Association of Chinese Contemporary Artists.The Outstanding Teacher
Award in Schumann Youth International Piano Competition Henan Division.

In June 2009, as the choral conducting of original musical Flower and Youth, and won
the Silver Award of National Minority Drama Festival.

In 2011, won the Outstanding Piano Tutor Award in Singapore International Chinese
Art Festival.

In 2013, won the Outstanding Piano Tutor in Thailand International Chinese Art Festival.

During postgraduate education years, won the Gold Award for conducting BBM choir
in Beijing Choir Competition organized by Chinese Choral Society; participated in the
workshop organized by Professor Boris Jefflin in Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory;
published the paper the Exploration of Chorus in the Original Folk Musical in the Chorus
Art; as an associated conductor for Beijing Chorus Association participating in the 2009
Spring conduct of the National Symphony Orchestra and the 2010 Classical and Popular
Choral Music Concerts at home and abroad.

In April 2010, served as the Beijing Modern Music Institute choir conductor and
teached choral conducting courses.

From June to December 2010, director of music education department in Beijing
Modern Music Institute.

From 2006 to 2011, as judge for Youth Culture and Arts Development Association
Piano Competition organized by Henan Provincial Cultural Bureau for 6 consecutive
years.

In 2007, conducted musical Jasmine.

In August 2008, conducted choral Sculpting Time.

In October 2010, as the international judge for Singapore International Chinese art
festival piano and vocal group.

In May, 2012, as Chinese judge for Smetana International Piano Competition semi-finals.

In August, 2013, as piano judge for Thailand International Chinese Art Festival.

In August 2014, won the Outstanding Teacher Award in U.S. California’s Youth
International Competition.
